Do blondes have more fun? This week’s round-up from Azealia Banks to the Cock Destroyers

This is WHAT THE F*CK!, your weekly pop culture round-up of nail-biting news, need-to-know trends and never-to-be-ignored topics. Think of it as your own personally curated list, prepped and preened with things that deserve your undivided attention or disapproving glances. Allow us to do the hard work for you (we’re your own little tattle-tale) and let us show you what to check-out and check-off this week.

A MEETING OF MINDS
Azealia Banks and Lourdes Leon

A formidable duo formed this Tuesday and they’ve come to save the world; LOURDES LEON (yep, as in MADONNA’S daughter) and AZEALIA BANKS, who you may know from insulting the entire nation of Ireland, voluntarily holding herself hostage in GRIMES’ and Elon Musk’s home or releasing the greatest hip-hop debut of all-time (212, duh). The hotties were caught partying together at Real Housewives of New York City cast member Leah McSweeney’s launch party in East Village, New York. It seemed to be the soiree of 2021 and photos of the pair have been doing the rounds on hot girl Twitter - personally when I saw the selfie I screamed and dropped my phone on the floor. I mean, Lourdes Leon might be the coolest girl in the world right now (I based my latest dye job off her Vanity Fair interview) and I have never seen Azealia Banks and William Shakespeare in the same room.

RENT-A-SWAG
Selfridges Rental service

In a way, SELFRIDGES new rental service is like a modern 2021 incarnation of Cinderella, the department store are offering everything from BALENCIAGA handbags to MISSONI smocks to loan for a fraction of the price. Simply select a product, length of time you wish to borrow the item for, pay a sum and you’re off! So you need not fear, the GANNI leopard print dress you borrowed won’t turn to dust at midnight.

RAYA LIGHT
Ben Affleck moves mad

It would seem all BEN AFFLECK knows is pain, as the 48-year-old was caught thirsting on main. Model, NIVINE JAY, unmatched the Academy Award winning actor on dating app Raya after she believed his profile to be fake. In Nivine’s defence, matching a man who was once engaged to J-Lo on a dating app seems pretty far fetched but celebrities still want to suck and fuck like the rest of us, I guess? Anyway, the A-lister hunted his new oomf down on Instagram and sent her a somewhat sinister video - “Nivine it’s me, why did you unmatch me?” he asks. Spooky…

SPLITSVILLE
The Cock Destroyers quit

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, cock to cock this week. Girls, gays and theys across the country found themselves in mourning as REBECCA MORE and SOPHIE ANDERSON, lovingly known as the Cock Destroyers announced that they are parting ways. Fans have speculated the duo have fallen out as they no longer follow each-other on social media and Rebecca tweeted that she received a ‘vicious’ email from someone she considered to be a friend. Can I please get an F in the chat to pay respects?

MILFIFICATION
Billie Eillish’s new look

Here's a big question for you - do blondes have more fun? After the debut of BILLIE EILLISH’S British Vogue cover this weekend I would hazard saying yes. The pop-star debuted a mature, sexy new look which caused Instagram to almost collapse in on itself. Shot by CRAIG MCDEAN, Eilish sports a vintage Hollywood pin-up look - a far cry from her slime era. I would just like to say… go the hell off Billie, this is a huge TOOT!
