“This shoot was an experiment in bringing back the simplicity of poster boy visual language from the '90s - using a combination of art direction and Jake's personal style to create a nostalgic story with a kind of vintage energy. Jake had just got signed, and I wanted to give him some new shots for his book - we styled vintage Versace with muted colours and pulled on trends you see flicking through mags from the late ‘90s/early ‘00s to create an updated vision of the culture at that time.”- JULIA HOWE
