BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE MANHATTAN
Sex And The City’s reboot script leak

Filming for HBO Max’s Sex and The City reboot, titled ‘And Just Like That’, is well underway and so far has certainly raised a few eyebrows. Whether it’s the lack of Kim Catrall’s brilliant Samantha Jones or absence of Patricia Field’s ingenious costume design, pretty much every SATC mega-fan has had a qualm or two. I myself was partially against the whole thing until…a script leak. In one part of the leaked script Carrie blurts out “I was taping the podcast, I was washing my hair. Yes, I wasn’t eating or sleeping, but at least I felt good about my marriage. Now I’m just one of the wives he was taking care of?” A plethora of rumours have now been sparked that Mr Big could simply be short for MR BIGAMIST. Okay HBO, you’ve finally caught my attention.

JLO MY GOD
Bennifer make it hashtag Instagram official

As a hot girl, one of the hardest things you may ever have to do is make your relationship Instagram official, a nerve wrecking moment in which you take yourself off the market for realsies. So I tip my hat to you JENNIFER LOPEZ for dropping a phenomenal snog pic with boyfriend Ben Affleck in celebration of your 52nd birthday this weekend. Hopeless romantics everywhere shed a tear over the couple embracing on a yacht, a nod to the Jenny From The Block music video Affleck starred in perhaps?

SHIT-POST THROUGH THIS
Courtney Love becomes a meme queen

In a hilarious, bizarre and ultimately heart-warming Instagram post this week, Hole front-woman and all round legend COURTNEY LOVE declared her own love for Gen Z (thank you Court) and meme culture. Taking to the ‘gram, Love wrote “I think they’re funnier than any other generation I’ve ever known and I feel a lot of empathy/affinity for them.” She then proceeded to share some of her favourite Zoomer memes (a personal highlight was “Jack Antonoff at the new ideas store”), and even her favourite meme accounts! Courtney a.k.a the sexiest hag alive since 1964, we welcome you to the shit-poster club.

SUCKING D*CK DISCOURSE
Lil Nas X drops ‘Industry Baby’

Our beloved LIL NAS X released his latest track Industry Baby this week featuring fellow rapper JACK HARLOW. Like so many of Lil Nas X’s previous releases it’s certainly peeved off a few conservatives, the music video to accompany the rapper’s latest hit is undoubtedly homoerotic and horny but THAT’S WHAT MAKES IT SO MUCH FUN! Naked oiled up fellas manically twerk in the fictional Montero State prison which has caused critics to accuse Lil Nas X of pushing a “gay agenda”. In true Lil Nas X style he took to Twitter to clap back at the haters - “all jokes aside the idea of a gay agenda doesn’t make sense. if someone influences you to suck cock you probably already wanted to suck cock.” Legend.

CH-CH-CH-CHANGES

Congratulations to the wonderful finalists for the BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL’S coveted Changemakers Prize Award! Good luck to all the finalists making an incredibly positive mark on an often disappointing industry, here’s to change!

DODGEMS WITH A DIFFERENCE
Somerset House goes to the fair

For all the fun of the fair this summer look no further than Dodge at Somerset House, the infamous London courtyard has been reimagined by British-Nigerian artist and designer YINKA ILORI. The courtyard has become a dodgems ride filled with enchanting colour and sound to kick off welcoming back the public. If that isn’t intriguing enough why not book yourself into Dodge Lates, a night accompanied by drinks delivered to your table and music by producer, composer and performer ANNA MEREDITH. The dodgems serve as instruments themselves which harmonise when bumped into each other, and to really get you in the mood, take a listen to Meredith’s new album, Bumps Per Minute (18 Studies for Dodgems).
