“We the women are tired,” shares creative director, stylist, model and writer ANESU NOELLE MANDE. NO CONSENT is a personal essay documenting the oppression towards females by the result of a voyeuristic male gaze. Mande uses visual imagery to narrate the psychological impact of sexual abuse by asking the culprit “do you know that your victims play that tape and rehearse those words over and over and over again back to themselves? Do you know the implications of your actions?”
